This was an online course. There is a difference between school and education. This course with this professor is the epitome of school and the antithesis of education. For an IT professor, this professor is more concerned with APA format than the substance, material, or if you even understand the material. I would say over 100 points I did not receive credit for were due to not having the absolute correct APA format. He assigns a metric ton of technical reading, power point, and videos to watch. He then structures his tests by asking scenario-based questions, for which you have to infer what the correct answer is based off of the material that you read. All quizzes and exams are timed, and you'll have less than 48 seconds per question to read, translate, understand, and answer. If you are new to this field, like I am, the struggle to understand the technical concepts and select the correct answer was difficult. Additionally, after week one I contacted him with my concerns and he shrugged them off. If you can swing it, take this course with a different professor or do not take any other course load while taking this class. He has two major research papers that are weighted as much as his three major exams. Good luck.
