Kai Li

It's difficult to discern in Li any real interest in students' success; his primary motivational tools are guilt and shame, all the worse as he doesn't know the difference between them. Kai is an accomplished and skilled researcher who has produced truly seminal work, but he completely lacks empathy and can never be an effective mentor. That said, I did learn from him.
