Best aspects: The professor emailed back within two weeks when students had questions.

Could improve: The professor did not consistently follow the rubric when grading, yet students were penalized for following it. She also failed to clearly communicate certain expectations and then docked students for not meeting requirements that had never been stated. Had students known what was required, they would have met those expectations. When students emailed for clarification, they received no response, which felt dismissive and disrespectful. Overall, the grading process felt inconsistent, petty, and unreasonable.

Advice: Be prepared to guess what the professor wants to see.
